MAE a finalizat reevaluarea proprietăţilor din străinătate: 205 imobile în 50 de ţări. Cât valorează şi ce anomalii a găsit Ţoiu

Romania's Foreign Minister Oana Ţoiu announced the completion of a reevaluation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' real estate portfolio abroad, which includes 205 properties in 50 countries valued at 4.06 billion lei. The ministry discovered ongoing rent payments for unused spaces, some vacant for a decade, and plans to recover outstanding rents from delinquent tenants. Ţoiu emphasized the need for better management of this valuable but underfunded heritage, stating that efforts are being made to stop wasteful spending and reinvest in Romania's foreign assets. The ministry has also published a list of properties rented to third parties and is taking legal action to recover unpaid rents.
