MADR: Sunt cereri din partea unor oameni de afaceri din România care vor să cumpere cereale ieftine din Ucraina - Economica.net
Romania is experiencing a significant cereal production increase in 2026, prompting local entrepreneurs to seek import licenses for cheaper Ukrainian grains. Minister Barna Tanczos highlighted the need for improved transport infrastructure and transparency in grain exports. While Romanian farmers face challenges in selling their products, there is a growing demand for Ukrainian cereals due to lower prices. The import of certain grains from Ukraine will require licenses from the Ministry of Agriculture until the end of 2026. The European Commission forecasts Romania's cereal production could reach 23.6 million tons this year, surpassing Spain's output.
