David Ioan, a 22-year-old from Sibiu, achieved a remarkable feat by longboarding from Păltiniș to Rășinari in 40 minutes, filmed by an autonomous drone. His passion for extreme sports and technology drove him to document this spontaneous adventure. David, who previously played football, has been longboarding for 11 years. He faced challenges on the route, particularly during sharp turns, relying on his skills to control his speed without mechanical brakes. The journey was well-timed with light traffic, and he felt supported by drivers and a cyclist who assisted him along the way. David believes he is the first to complete this descent on a longboard in recent years, and he plans to continue exploring and filming new adventures.
