On Thursday, Romanian authorities mobilized multiple forces to rescue the crew of the commercial vessel Wine Trader, which caught fire in the Black Sea near Sulina. The operation involves the Romanian Border Police, the General Inspectorate of Aviation, and the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. A Black Hawk helicopter with a medical team was deployed, along with another helicopter for additional support. Two boats were also sent to assist, but high waves hindered safe rescue efforts. The Wine Trader, flying the San Marino flag, reported the fire early Thursday, with eight of the twelve crew members missing. This incident follows a previous drone strike on another vessel in the area.
