Lumina artificială pe timp de noapte din casă, cel mai mare inamic al sănătății. Cum este afectată inima
A recent study from Tulane University indicates that nighttime artificial light exposure negatively impacts heart function. The research, published in the European Heart Journal, analyzed data from over 11,000 participants and found that those exposed to higher levels of light at night had thinner heart walls and signs of impaired heart function. Dr. Lu Qi noted that this exposure may shorten sleep duration and quality, disrupting the body's natural circadian rhythm. Previous studies have linked nighttime light exposure to obesity, hypertension, and increased cardiovascular disease risk.
