Lukoil Overseas a solicitat prelungirea concesiunii pentru perimetrul Trident din Marea Neagră. Gigantul rus confirmă negocierile cu un fond de investiții american
Lukoil Overseas has requested an extension for the Trident gas exploration agreement in the Black Sea, set to expire in October. The company has invested approximately $880 million since entering Romania in 2011, with $630 million allocated to the Trident project. They emphasize the project's strategic importance for regional energy security and Romania's energy independence. Despite international sanctions causing procedural delays, Lukoil remains committed to completing the project and is negotiating the sale of its European assets to an American investment fund, which could lift the sanctions.
