Luis Lazarus, reacție după propunerea de tăiere a bugetului UE cu 8%: „Nu cred că se va ajunge aici”
Luis Lazarus, president of the Justice and Brotherhood Party, commented on Ireland's proposal to cut the EU budget by about 8% for 2028-2034. He expressed concerns about potential losses for Romania and the challenges faced by farmers, particularly in Călărași, who fear water shortages for irrigation. Lazarus believes the proposal is unlikely to be accepted as is, emphasizing the ongoing negotiations among EU member states. He criticized the government's handling of agricultural issues and warned that without support, Romanian farmers may struggle to compete with imports. He also highlighted the risks of increased dependency on foreign food products, which could affect quality and prices.
