Lufthansa și Air France s-au bătut pe compania portugheză TAP. Germanii au câștigat cu o ofertă de 1,2 miliarde de euro
German airline group Lufthansa has won the bid for a partial privatization of TAP Air Portugal, offering €1.2 billion for a 44.9% stake. The Portuguese government favored Lufthansa's bid, which was 16% higher than its competitor, Air France-KLM. The state plans to retain at least 50.1% of TAP to maintain its national identity and strategic role. This privatization follows TAP's emergency nationalization in 2020 due to the pandemic, which required a restructuring plan. TAP currently operates a fleet of 101 aircraft and has seen a record number of passengers in the first half of the year.
