The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges Buzau announced the completion of safety improvement works on DN10, between Siriu and Covasna. The project, costing 8.8 million lei, involved asphalt resurfacing and remediation of subsided areas over a 20-kilometer stretch. The aim was to enhance traffic conditions and reduce risks for drivers and other road users. The works included periodic maintenance, asphalt laying, and road marking, conducted under temporary traffic restrictions. This initiative complements previous measures to stabilize slopes prone to rockfalls and debris due to heavy rains. Further documentation is underway for additional sections to ensure ongoing safety and maintenance of DN10.
