Cristian Pistol, the General Director of CNAIR, reported that the construction of Lot 1 of the A7 Highway is nearing 70% completion. The project, spanning 30.3 kilometers, employs 500 workers and 350 machines, aiming for completion by the end of the year, contingent on funding and weather conditions. The contract is valued at 1.638 billion lei, excluding VAT, and is financed through PNRR until August 31, 2026. Remaining work requires state budget funding, which CNAIR has requested. Pistol emphasized the importance of securing financing and favorable weather for timely completion.
