The construction of the longest overpass on the A1 Margina – Holdea highway is progressing, with over 48 beams installed and the project exceeding 75% completion. The overpass, spanning 1,085 meters, crosses the Lugoj – Ilia railway and features 25 openings. Additionally, work continues on the viaducts and tunnels, with the second tunnel being the longest highway tunnel in Romania. The project is managed by UMB and Euro Asfalt, and authorities anticipate the highway section will open in the first half of next year.
