Lucrări de modernizare la Arena Naţională, în vederea finalei Europa League

The Mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, announced plans for the rehabilitation and modernization of the National Arena, which will host the Europa League final in 2028. The city collaborated with the Romanian Football Federation on the candidacy file, focusing on fan areas. A mobility and urban management plan will be implemented, especially from Henri Coandă International Airport to the stadium. Structural repairs and roof work are set to begin, with contracts already signed. Additionally, LED screens will be replaced, and upgrades will be made to broadcasting equipment and locker rooms. The Romanian Football Federation confirmed the final's location in Bucharest, as decided by UEFA's Executive Committee.
