Starting Monday, significant modernization works will take place in Bucharest's Sectors 4 and 5, focusing on the primary thermal network. In Sector 5, work will occur on Nuțu Ion Street, affecting several nearby areas and requiring temporary suspension of hot water supply to 48 thermal points serving around 743 blocks. In Sector 4, the project involves the installation of new pre-insulated pipes and will temporarily halt hot water supply to 72 thermal points, impacting approximately 1,100 blocks. The works are part of the POIM project and are scheduled to be completed by October 9, 2026, with phased restoration of hot water supply.
