Luca Niculescu: Nimeni nu se atinge de Pilonul 2 de pensii

Prime Minister Luca Niculescu confirmed that the second pension pillar will remain unchanged, emphasizing its significance for millions of Romanians and its contribution to GDP. He stated that the assets in this pillar are crucial and should not be redirected for other purposes. Niculescu highlighted the need for predictability regarding the pension system and mentioned the importance of attracting European funds. He outlined priorities such as completing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) by year-end and improving fund absorption rates. Additionally, more Romanians are now receiving benefits from the second pillar, reflecting a significant increase compared to last year.
