Luca Niculescu: „Nici nu mă gândesc să îmi depun mandatul”

Luca Niculescu, the designated prime minister, affirmed his commitment to continue discussions with political parties and present the government program next week. He emphasized his diplomatic experience as beneficial for his role, having previously engaged with European officials regarding Romania's OECD accession. Niculescu has begun consultations with parliamentary parties, starting with PSD, which expressed openness but set conditions for government support. He noted that PNL leaders were not very receptive to PSD's proposals but did not impose additional conditions.
