Designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu emphasized energy policy as a key priority for his future government, proposing a National Energy Pact for ten years. He aims to reduce electricity costs for strategic industries through long-term contracts and investments, while ensuring support for low-income families until new energy capacities are operational. Niculescu plans to add nearly 6,000 megawatts to the system by 2027 and expects gas from Neptun Deep to enter the market by the same year.
