Lovitură pentru Nicușor Dan. Parlamentul îi respinge cererea și majorează cu 200 de litri cantitatea de țuică produsă în gospodării și scutită de accize

Romanian households can now produce up to 200 liters of țuică annually without paying excise taxes, despite opposition from President Nicușor Dan. The measure, introduced by PSD, applies to non-commercial production and has faced criticism for potential infringement issues. Current regulations allow for 50 liters of fruit alcohol per year without excise if not sold. The amendment was justified by recent legislation on local gastronomic points, but Dan argues it violates bicameralism principles. The Senate initially approved a version without the 200-liter increase, but the deputies later reinstated it, claiming minimal impact on state revenues and compliance with EU regulations.
