Lovitură pentru Microsoft. Administrația Trump suspendă accesul companiei la permise de ședere permanentă pentru angajații săi din SUA

The Trump administration has removed Microsoft from a program allowing H-1B visa holders to obtain permanent residency. Vice President JD Vance accused the company of system abuse, which Microsoft denied. Vance highlighted that Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers while securing over 6,300 H-1B visas. He emphasized the need for the company to hire more American workers. Microsoft stated that most of its H-1B applications were for current employees or individuals already legally in the U.S. This announcement coincided with a ceremony where Trump awarded Microsoft’s CEO the National Medal of Technology and Innovation.
