The company sold approximately 137 GWh of energy, primarily to Electrica Furnizare, amid high gas prices affecting production costs. ELCEN operates four cogeneration plants and faces challenges due to the high market price of gas and the need to purchase carbon certificates. The final price for consumers could reach around 1.78 lei/kWh, considering various additional costs.
