The construction of Lot 3 of the A13 Sibiu-Făgăraș highway is currently at 48% completion, with a target finish date set for 2028. The segment between Arpașu de Jos and Sâmbăta de Sus spans 17.61 km and is progressing steadily. The Turkish contractor has completed 87% of the earthworks and has laid the ballast foundation over more than half of the area. Work on the road surface has begun in some sections, including the base and binder layers. Additionally, significant progress has been made on the concrete work for bridges and metal constructions. The entire Sibiu-Făgăraș highway, totaling 68.04 km, consists of four sections, with the last section connecting to Făgăraș and DN1.
