Farmers and residents near forests are calling for immediate measures to protect lives and property, citing a significant increase in bear numbers, now exceeding 13,000 nationally. They demand urgent legislation to increase intervention quotas, effective population control measures, and real protection for rural communities. The situation has led to injuries and fatalities among people, with bears invading homes and public spaces.
