Residents of two streets in Râșnov will benefit from new stormwater drainage systems to address flooding issues. The local government has initiated investments to modernize drainage networks, particularly on Gării and Bârsei streets, where a contract has been signed for a preliminary project. Currently, these streets lack stormwater drainage, leading to water accumulation during heavy rains and snowmelt, affecting accessibility. This project is part of a broader effort to improve stormwater management in the city, especially after modernization works on nearby roads created additional drainage challenges. The municipality is also working on upgrading drainage on Mișu Pop street to alleviate pressure on the existing system.
