He pointed out that current funding programs, while beneficial, typically offer loans with a two-year maturity, which is insufficient for farmers who require longer repayment periods. Dobre stressed the necessity for financing options extending beyond five years, particularly for significant investments like land purchases. Agricover has adjusted its portfolio to focus more on medium-term loans, serving over 11,000 farmers across Romania.
