The Environmental Fund Administration announced the approval of 9,743 eco-tickets worth over 124 million lei under the Rabla Auto 2026 program for individuals. This initiative aims to modernize Romania's vehicle fleet and promote environmentally friendly mobility solutions. Beneficiaries must destroy their old vehicles within 60 days of approval and submit necessary documents. Funding for electric motorcycles and new vehicles with hybrid or hydrogen fuel cell systems has been exhausted, while the session for thermal propulsion vehicles is ongoing. A budget of 35,302,000 lei remains available until December 31, 2026, or until funds are depleted.
