Mountain gendarmes conducted patrols to prevent unauthorized access of motor vehicles in protected areas, issuing 50 fines totaling 57,500 lei. These fines targeted those illegally entering hunting and forest areas with motorcycles and ATVs. Authorities emphasize the need to protect the fragile mountain ecosystem from the damage caused by motorized transport. They urge visitors to enjoy nature respectfully and considerately towards others seeking peace in the mountains.
