Lifturi pentru blocurile vechi din România

Romania is launching a national program to install elevators in buildings not originally designed with them. The initiative, named 'Lift for Life', aims to enhance accessibility in condominiums with at least three floors. Funding will come from European funds, state budget, and local budgets. Eligible buildings must have residents with mobility challenges or young children. The program will start with a pilot phase for 100 condominiums, with local authorities managing the projects. Maintenance costs will be borne by homeowners' associations.
