The Ministry of Education has proposed a framework for high school admission processes, allowing schools to conduct entrance exams after the National Evaluation. This applies to up to 50% of available spots for certain specializations. The new methodology includes national standardized subjects for entrance exams and outlines the timeline for the National Evaluation and admission procedures, starting with students enrolled in the 5th grade in the 2023-2024 school year. Key dates include the National Evaluation from June 22-25, 2027, and the announcement of results on July 7, 2027. Schools can also hold additional tests for vocational programs, and participation in entrance exams is not mandatory for high school enrollment.
