Libanul depune eforturi pentru o „retragere israeliană globală”, declară premierul țării

Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam emphasized efforts for a complete Israeli withdrawal during a visit to southern Lebanon, following a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. The Lebanese army has begun deploying in areas previously occupied by Israel, amid tensions and accusations of gunfire from Israeli forces. The agreement from June allows for this deployment contingent on the disarmament of Hezbollah, which opposes the deal. Despite ongoing violence, over 700,000 displaced individuals have returned home since the ceasefire in June, as efforts continue to stabilize the region.
