Letonia interzice importurile de bunuri din Rusia și Belarus. Cărțile, hainele și jocurile video, pe listă

Latvia has implemented a broad ban on imports from Russia and Belarus, targeting various consumer goods to protect national security and limit Russian propaganda. The legislation, effective immediately, includes books, clothing, toys, and sports equipment. This makes Latvia one of the first EU countries to impose such extensive restrictions. The Latvian government emphasizes that the banned products are not essential and that alternatives exist. The measures aim to reduce export revenues for Russia and Belarus and are part of a broader strategy to diminish economic ties with Moscow amid the Ukraine conflict. Further restrictions on processed food products are also being considered.
