Letonia interzice importul cărţilor din Rusia şi Belarus pentru a combate "dezinformarea şi propaganda de război"
Latvia has banned the import of printed materials from Russia and Belarus to combat disinformation and war propaganda. This measure aims to protect national security and reduce economic ties with these countries, which support the aggression against Ukraine. The ban, effective from September 1, also includes consumer goods and is part of Latvia's efforts to enhance societal resilience against hybrid attacks from Russia. Import values from these countries have significantly decreased since the war began, but printed materials remained a notable category of imports.
