The government will delay the salary law, needing two more weeks for negotiations with education and health unions. Interim Minister Dragoș Pîslaru stated that tensions in these sectors prevent consensus for parliamentary approval. The aim is to improve dialogue and reach a supportive form by mid-August. Importantly, no salaries will decrease; if recalculated salaries are lower, employees will retain their current pay.
