Negotiations with health unions regarding the new salary law are ongoing, with potential progress expected this week, according to the interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru. He emphasized that the salary law is crucial for improving public sector wages and that two-thirds of public administration could see salary increases. Pîslaru assured that no salaries would decrease and that simulations have been conducted for all occupational families. The National Sanitas Council recently suspended a general strike, indicating a willingness to continue negotiations for a revised salary law.
