Legea salarizării intră în linie dreaptă. Peste 800.000 de bugetari ar urma să primească salarii mai mari • Newsweek România

The new Salary Law is set to increase wages for over 800,000 public sector employees, with significant changes in Health and Education. The interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that more than two-thirds of the 1.2 million public employees will benefit from these increases. The law must be adopted by August 31 to secure 770 million euros in European funds. Negotiations have led to a revised proposal, particularly in Health, where over 75% of employees are expected to see salary hikes. Education is also undergoing a complete salary grid overhaul, with a phased implementation starting in 2028. The budget impact is capped at 12.1 billion lei, and protections will be in place for those who might see a decrease in net income due to the new salary structure.
