The discussions at Cotroceni included key ministers and aimed to address public sector salary adjustments. While the reference value decreased, some salary coefficients for teachers were increased. The new proposal also modifies performance bonuses and introduces changes in payment for weekend work and hazardous conditions. Negotiations concluded without an agreement, and parties will review the proposal before a follow-up meeting next week. The law must be adopted by the end of the month to meet a PNRR milestone.
