Legea privind prevenirea atacurilor de urs, retrimisă în Parlament. Nicușor Dan cere reguli mai clare pentru cotele de recoltare
President Nicușor Dan has sent back to Parliament a law modifying bear attack prevention measures, seeking clearer regulations on culling quotas. He emphasizes the need for targeted interventions based on local data and behavior of problematic bears, rather than arbitrary quotas. Dan also calls for a real-time tracking system for harvested bears and clearer guidelines for hunting female bears with cubs. The law, which sets quotas for 2026 and 2027, was previously approved by Parliament and upheld by the Constitutional Court, but Dan insists on a more effective and accountable approach to ensure both community safety and species protection.
