Legea conturilor de economii pentru pensie, adoptată de Parlament. Câți bani s-ar putea acumula prin investiții lunare

The Romanian Parliament has adopted a law for voluntary pension savings accounts, allowing citizens to invest long-term with tax benefits. These accounts, known as CEI, will not replace existing pension systems but serve as an additional income source for retirement. Individuals can open accounts at banks or brokerage firms, choosing from various financial instruments. There are two types of accounts: CEI-S, which offers tax exemptions on gains, and CEI-D, which allows tax deductions on contributions. A simulation suggests that investing 300 lei monthly for 35 years could yield over 500,000 lei, depending on market performance. The law awaits presidential approval before implementation.
