„Legea burqa” a fost adoptată în Portugalia. Țara interzice ascunderea feței în public
Portugal's President Antonio José Seguro has enacted a law banning face-covering clothing in public spaces, primarily targeting Muslim women wearing burqas. The law prohibits any clothing that conceals the face and any coercion to cover one's face for gender or religious reasons. It emphasizes the importance of facial visibility for identity and communication. The legislation, described as the 'burqa law', was passed by a right-wing coalition and extreme right parties, with left-wing parties opposing it. Violators may face fines ranging from 150 to 3,000 euros, with exceptions for health, professional, artistic, or climatic reasons, as well as in places of worship and diplomatic missions.
