Le găsești pe aproape orice etichetă. Cele 8 E-uri asociate cu un risc crescut de hipertensiune
A study in France involving 112,000 participants identified eight food additives linked to increased hypertension risk. While these preservatives are widely used to prevent spoilage, their direct impact on health remains unproven. The research, published in the European Heart Journal, found that high consumption of certain preservatives correlated with a higher likelihood of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Notably, potassium sorbate (E202) showed the strongest association with hypertension. The findings suggest a need for regulatory bodies to reassess the safety of these additives, emphasizing the benefits of consuming less processed foods. Further research is required to understand the biological mechanisms behind these associations.
