He accused these countries of failing to uphold agreements that could have prevented the conflict. Lavrov emphasized that Russia is open to peace negotiations but will not halt military operations during talks. He reiterated that the Minsk agreements were not implemented due to European interference, which allowed Ukraine to strengthen its military. Lavrov also mentioned the U.S. interest in resolving the conflict, citing discussions with American officials about a potential G20 summit invitation for President Putin.
