The new Senic store in Senic Retail Park attracted over 6,000 visitors on its opening day. This retail park, owned by the Cîmpeanu family, features a JISK store and spans 8,000 m². The Senic store is the 14th in the chain, offering around 15,000 products, including fresh produce and local meats. It employs 70 staff and aims to provide a comprehensive shopping experience. The park will also host additional businesses, creating over 100 jobs in total. Senic, a Romanian company established in 1994, operates two other stores and a factory in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, producing various products including its own brands.
