Laborator clandestin de fentanil, destructurat la Sofia. Producea până la 10 kg de drog zilnic

Bulgarian authorities dismantled a large-scale clandestine fentanyl lab in Sofia, marking a significant achievement in drug trafficking combat efforts. The lab could produce six to ten kilograms of fentanyl daily, supplying a large portion of Bulgaria's illegal market. The operation was led by the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, with special protective measures due to hazardous chemicals involved. Two main suspects were arrested during the raid, which faced access challenges due to high fences and illegal structures. Recent arrests in the area also relate to fentanyl trafficking, highlighting ongoing issues with this dangerous synthetic opioid.
