La câți kilometri trebuie schimbat uleiul de motor ca să protejezi turbina. Ce probleme pot apărea dacă amâni revizia
Changing engine oil at intervals longer than 10,000 to 15,000 kilometers can harm the turbocharger and engine bearings. Mechanic Maurizio Chiogna warns that oil degrades faster in real driving conditions than maintenance schedules suggest. Contaminated oil, especially in diesel engines, can lead to serious issues, including turbo failure. Short trips prevent oil from reaching optimal temperatures, necessitating annual oil changes even for low-mileage vehicles. Chiogna advises allowing the engine to idle after demanding drives to prevent oil carbonization in the turbo. Using thicker oil is not a solution due to modern oil pump controls. For turbocharged or hybrid engines, oil should be changed every 10,000 kilometers, with a maximum of 15,000 kilometers.
