Residents must allow access for the installation, which aims to enhance energy efficiency and provide accurate consumption readings. The project is part of a broader initiative to install 1.1 million smart meters across 14 counties by 2028, ensuring real-time data transmission and improved billing processes. If residents are unavailable for the installation, they will be notified for rescheduling, and failure to comply may result in disconnection from the energy network.
