Kremlinul reacționează la invitarea lui Vladimir Putin la Summitul G20 din Miami

The Kremlin stated that discussions about a potential meeting between Presidents Putin and Trump at the G20 summit are premature. Dmitri Peskov emphasized that no decision has been made yet regarding the invitation extended by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio invited Putin to the summit in December, highlighting the importance of dialogue to resolve issues. He also urged both Russia and Ukraine to cease attacks on energy targets. Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed willingness to meet Putin in the U.S., but the Kremlin deemed such a meeting impossible, suggesting instead a meeting in Moscow. The last in-person meeting between the two leaders occurred in 2019.
