Kövesi semnează un acord de cooperare între Parchetul European și China

Laura Kövesi, the head of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), and Ying Yong, the chief prosecutor of China's Supreme People's Procuratorate, have signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement outlines practical judicial cooperation methods aimed at combating organized crime affecting EU financial interests, money laundering, and corruption. A joint action plan for 2026-2028 will further enhance cooperation in these areas. The EPPO is an independent EU body focused on protecting the EU budget and prosecuting crimes against its financial interests, including cross-border VAT fraud and corruption. It operates with both central and decentralized levels, involving delegated European prosecutors in 24 member states.
