Kievul anunță acorduri cu România și noi rute de aprovizionare cu combustibil

Ukraine has announced new agreements to expand fuel supply routes through Romania as an alternative to Russian attack-exposed logistics. These agreements were reached during a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Nicușor Dan, according to Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal. The focus is on enhancing railway and river routes through Romania to ensure fuel supply amidst ongoing military risks. Ukraine is also launching a pilot project for underground fuel storage to secure petroleum products. The importance of alternative routes has increased due to Russian attacks on transport and energy infrastructure. Ukraine is redirecting some transport to Danube ports and western railways, with Reni and Izmail ports gaining significance for logistics.
