Kelemen Hunor, înaintea votului decisiv din Parlament: „Învestirea Guvernului Niculescu pune capăt crizei guvernamentale. Celelalte crize rămân”
Kelemen Hunor, the UDMR leader, stated that supporting the new government led by Luca Niculescu is a responsible decision aimed at ending the governmental crisis. He acknowledged that while this vote would resolve the political deadlock, Romania still faces significant budgetary, economic, and social challenges. Hunor emphasized the need for ongoing dialogue and political compromise to address these issues and protect community interests. He also highlighted the responsibility of political leaders to provide solutions to citizens' concerns, especially ahead of the 2024 elections. The new cabinet requires at least 233 votes for approval, with support from PSD, PNL, and UDMR, while USR and AUR oppose it.
