Kaufland opened a new store in early 2023 but failed to construct a promised access road from Siretului Street. Local councilor Corina Bokor raised concerns about the lack of infrastructure during a council meeting. Mayor Astrid Fodor stated she would review the situation. Additionally, Bokor highlighted neglected green spaces in the Cireșica neighborhood, where residents seek improvements. Fodor acknowledged the issue but noted some areas are private property, limiting municipal intervention. The city will enhance the public spaces under its control.
