Karim Khan, procurorul Curții Internaționale care a obținut mandate de arestare pentru Putin și Netanyahu, a fost demis

The International Criminal Court's member states voted to remove Karim Khan as chief prosecutor due to allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct. During his term, Khan issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes. 82 out of 125 member states supported his dismissal, while Khan has denied the allegations. The Assembly of the ICC will soon elect a new prosecutor. In 2025, the U.S. imposed sanctions on nine ICC members related to investigations of alleged war crimes against Israel and the U.S. Disciplinary charges against Khan were raised in 2024.
