Kallas anunță deblocarea a 6,6 miliarde euro pentru Ucraina

The EU has agreed to unlock €6.6 billion from the European Peace Facility for Ukraine, with €4.7 billion reimbursing member states for military aid. An additional €900 million will support the EU Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM). Kaja Kallas emphasized this as positive for Ukraine and negative for Russia. The funds were previously blocked due to disputes over reimbursement mechanisms. The next step involves a meeting of EU defense ministers to discuss further support for Ukraine, including potential military training within Ukraine itself.
